As a Highland Park resident, I work closely with my clients to ensure the best possible pet care, primarily in HP and the surrounding areas.

Admittedly, my path to the pet care profession wasn’t always obvious. As a kid, I was terrified of dogs—it took finally getting one of my own as an adult (with not-so-gentle encouragement from my wife) to be a full convert to animal lover. These days, I’ve almost always got a pet by my side, whether it’s my own dog, Lucy (a 14 year old cockapoo we adopted when she was around 6 years old), or one of my clients’ furry friends.

After college, I spent a decade in corporate jobs mostly focused on technology, while my wife was a software engineer. During Covid, we realized we wanted a change. We bought a van, packed our stuff up, and hit the road with Lucy, spending our days hiking across the country and planning our next steps.

We started our dog walking company jointly with our companion mobile app, Critter, to fulfill both sides of our passions—being active and outside working with pets while keeping our technology skills current. Our goal is to deliver the best pet care each and every day, while making our clients’ pet care easier through technology.

We are a registered business in the state of Illinois, fully insured, and trained in pet handling & first aid.
